All within a 15 minute drive are historic homesteads Clarendon House, Franklin House and Entally Estate. Offering a rich insight into colonial Tasmania and convict history are the World Heritage Listed Woolmers Estate and Brickendon Estate, both well worth allocating time for.
Take a day trip to visit the Tamar Valley’s impressive range of wineries, including Josef Chromy Wines, and enjoy a long lunch in their hatted restaurant (bookings essential). And spend a day discovering Launceston and breathtaking Cataract Gorge, just 20 minutes from your accommodation and five minutes from Launceston airport.
